Cookie Notice
The short version
- We don't use cookies. No tracking cookies, no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies.
- We don't track you. No analytics, no pixels, no fingerprinting, no third-party trackers.
- There is nothing to consent to, which is exactly why our banner has a "Reject all" button that rejects… nothing.
Most websites greet you with a cookie wall because they're tracking you and the law says they have to ask first. JustDrop doesn't track you, so there's genuinely nothing to ask about. This page is the honest, slightly smug version of a cookie policy.
What we don't put on your device
- No tracking or advertising cookies.
- No analytics (no Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, nothing of the sort).
- No third-party scripts that follow you around the web.
- No device fingerprinting.
The one small, honest exception
If you dismiss our "we don't track you" banner, we save a single flag in your browser's local storage so we don't show it to you on every visit. It looks like this:
jd-cookie-notice = dismissed
That flag is strictly functional, lives only in your own browser, is never sent to us or anyone else, and tracks absolutely nothing. Clear your browser data and it's gone — and the banner will simply say hello again.
What about the file transfer itself?
When you're using the app, your browser keeps the keys and room details it needs in memory to run the transfer. That information stays on your device, is used only to make the drop work, and isn't a tracking cookie. How we handle the transfer is covered in our Privacy Policy.
If this ever changes
If we ever add something that genuinely needs your consent, we'll ask you properly first — with a real choice, not a fake one — and update this page.
